DOLPHIN TOURS

Dolphin Tours

Our 2 hour dolphin tour is our most popular tour! Our waterways are home to dolphin, manatee, bald eagles, osprey, stingrays, spotted eagle rays, sea turtles, beautiful pink spoonbills and so much more. You never know what you will see! On this boat tour our journey takes us north on the intracoastal waterway along Casey Key, Siesta Key, Sarasota Bay and Big Pass, just between Lido Key and Siesta Key. You will see spectacular wildlife and beautiful homes. The Sarasota Dolphin Research Program has documented 6 generations of dolphins in Sarasota. So the chances of of us seeing dolphin are always good! While we can’t guarantee seeing dolphin, we do see them on over 95% of our tours. We are the areas #1 Dolphin Tour, check us out on Tripadvisor and see what our customers have to say. We cover more ground on our 2 hour dolphin tour than any other dolphin boat tour in town. If you really want to see dolphin then we are the boat to be on.

What to Expect on Your Dolphin Tour

While there’s truly no bad time to see dolphins, morning tours tend to offer calmer conditions and less boat traffic, making it easier to spot the wildlife. Weekdays are generally the best days on the water, while Sundays tend to be the busiest. If you’re booking a Sunday tour, we recommend reserving your spot early, the afternoons can be a busy time on the water.

Why Choose a Private Dolphin Tour?

Not all dolphin tours are created equal. Large 30–40 passenger boats may seem like a fun option, but when it comes to actually seeing wildlife up close, private wins every time. Here’s why:

Get Closer to the Dolphins. Our smaller private boat can navigate areas and get closer to wildlife in ways a large vessel simply cannot. Our boat covers twice as much area than the bigger large capacity boats.  No jostling for position at the railing — everyone on board has an unobstructed view.

It’s Just Your Group. Your tour is completely private — no strangers, no crowds, no waiting. Just you, your family or friends, and your captain. We tailor every tour to your group’s interests and pace.

More Affordable Than You Think. For a family or group of 4–6 people, our private tour is typically comparable in price to booking seats on a large passenger boat — and the experience is incomparably better.

A Local Expert, Not Just a Driver. Your experienced captain isn’t just navigating the boat — they’re a knowledgeable local guide who knows these waters, the wildlife, and the stories behind the coastline. You’ll leave knowing far more about Sarasota’s incredible marine ecosystem than you would from a crowded tour boat.

About Sarasota’s Dolphin Population

Sarasota is home to one of the most studied dolphin populations in the world. The Sarasota Dolphin Research Program has documented six generations of bottlenose dolphins living in these waters — making every tour a chance to encounter dolphins that have called this bay home their entire lives. These aren’t transient dolphins passing through; they’re residents, with their own family groups, behaviors, and personalities. It’s a truly unique wildlife experience you won’t find just anywhere.
